MISSION
SOWEd is Creation Truth’s ministry division directing hands-on learning. In Genesis 1:28, we are mandated to study(subdue) God’s creation and then take care of it(dominion). The Bible gives indication that we are to learn through mind(Romans 12:2), body(Heb. 5:14) and spirit(Phil. 4:7). This process is shown to be the most effective way in educating students. Secular education uses hands-on(senses) and minds-on(reasoning) components of learning. However, they lack hearts-on or Spirit-filled learning that is an essential component of Biblical worldview education. When we lack this Spiritual component, as secular education does, it makes learning purposeless. SOWEd programming gives students hands-on learning opportunities making them think(minds-on) about the world around them through a Biblical context(Spirit) adding purpose to learning.

PROGRAMS
Museum of Natural History Field Trips
Norman, OK: We will guide you through the dinosaur section of this museum and explain many of the pieces on display. The museum has taken most of the evidence found in the fossil record and given it an evolutionary spin. We take the same specimens and explain them with the Bible! If you have ever toured this or any other museum, and have been discouraged or disappointed, then this field trip is for you. It will help to renew your faith in the Scripture and reassure you that evolution is just a lie being presented as truth (Museum admission is extra). Ages 8 and up
Arbuckle Fossil Field Trips
Davis, OK: The first part of this field trip includes an observation of what we would consider Flood Geology. We explain the powerful forces of the Genesis Flood that created the many rock layers and their numerous fossils. Then we lead the group to an area where everyone will be able to dig for fossils. There are so many that everyone should go home with at least a fossil or two! Ages 6 and up
Astronomy Nights
Lexington, OK: This activity includes a 1-hour presentation on the Biblical view of the Universe followed by observation of stars, constellations, and other stellar objects. As you probably already figured out this is an evening field trip that is weather dependent. We are so uniquely created and placed in the universe the evidence is overwhelming. If you have ever wondered about the Big Bang or how starlight is seen in a young universe this is the activity for you!
Dissections
Lexington, OK: We will lead you through the dissection of a specimen. Not everyone has the tools, equipment or specimen to perform a dissection, so let us provide those as you come and learn. Every creature in all creation is uniquely made and during this activity our staff will show you the Creator’s design. There are several specimens’ to choose from to suit your group’s or curricula’s needs. Don’t let the fear of dissection scare you away from a great learning opportunity.
