Summer Update and Fall Challenge

CAMPS

     It started with a week most of you are familiar with called Genesis Week at Oil Belt Christian Service Camp in Flora, IL. It is the one ongoing scheduled week of camp that we birthed years ago to impact middle and high school students with the realities of Biblical history and authority. That week is now one of the largest attended weeks of the summer for the camp, and we are looking to relocate in the summer schedule to accommodate more students. What a blessing this week is to us and them!

     Ryan and I had four other camps through the summer. From high school to family camps, our mission was to bring Glory to the Father as we connect history to His Word. Whether that connection is made through dinosaurs, creation, the flood or American history, it always points to Him. The response through camps was outstanding with many salvations through Christ and worldviews challenged to Biblical authority. Our desire continues to use camps as opportunities to connect with new churches as students and staff go home and share what they have learned.



VBS

Along with camps we were invited into churches for eight VBS programs. Our curricula continue to be some of the most impactful for children’s worldview development on the market today. As we strongly encourage churches to have an adult track as part of their VBS, our impact can be felt by the whole church and not just by the young students. If you haven’t checked our VBS offerings out lately, don’t hesitate as summer 2027 is booking right now (CTF Vacation Bible School).

     As full as summer was, our focus has now shifted to this fall and the many events lined up in the coming months. From church events in Missouri, Illinois, Ohio and Colorado to right here in Oklahoma, we are sharing with young and old the Providence of history. Ryan is also leading a trip to Washington D.C. in celebration of our country’s 250th year as a nation. He will show throug historical sites the lasting impact of Providence in our nation’s history.



CADRE

     We also have two weeks of Cadre training this fall. As mentioned a few months back, our Sharp Institute for Biblical Worldview Studies is still one of the most important things we do, training those in the local church to share our message and mission. This fall we graduate our 22nd group and continue where we left off from January with the 23rd group. We still don’t have a permanent home for the SIBWS classes. If you recall from our June newsletter, a building just a couple of doors down here in Noble is for sale and would be such a blessing to the ministry on multiple fronts.

Matching Gift

     We have a $100,000 matching gift for pursuit of that new property. So we are establishing a challenge to 100 individuals, families, supporters or churches, we need you to help us make this a reality. If 100 give $1000 each (or more if able) we meet our matching gift and are able to approach the purchase of the still available property. We challenge you to help us meet this goal to impact further generations for His Glory. Please give and commit this endeavor to prayer with us as we seek a home for the SIBWS. I cannot wait to bring updates in the coming months.
