This leg is the largest known cast of an Edmontosaurus. The fossil was discovered in the Hell Creek Formation of South Dakota. Only the leg was present, but this fossil gives us a picture of how large these animals could grow. The animal this leg came from is estimated to be more than 31 feet long.
